5. Remaining targets

Obviously, fans want more.

College Football fans across the country fall in love with star-ratings and they want to see their respective programs racking up stars.

Though Clemson football already has 22 commitments, Tiger fans are still holding out hope that another 5-star or 4-star prospect or two join the class.

Currently it doesn’t seem that will be the case. 5-star LB Justin Flowe is trending towards Oregon and 5-star DE Jordan Burch is trending towards Georgia and LSU, though no one knows for sure about his recruitment.

Those two guys were the top remaining targets in the class, but there are a few others that Clemson will be keeping its eyes on. 4-star WR Xzavier Henderson, 4-star DB Malcolm Greene (LSU commit) and 4-star DB Kendall Dennis, who just recently received a Clemson offer.

I wouldn’t expect a commitment from Greene or Dennis at this point, but it will be interesting to see what Henderson decides. However, he’s not expected to make a commitment announcement during the Early National Signing Period.

Henderson has been considered a Clemson lean for quite some time, but was primarily recruited by Jeff Scott. With Scott leaving, it certainly stands to reason that he could choose Florida when it’s all said and done.

There are also several 2021 prospects that could announce decisions soon, including 4-star TE Jake Briningstool.
