Clemson football has one of the top classes in the country committed for the 2020 cycle. Here are five storylines for Early National Signing Day.

The Clemson football program, led by Dabo Swinney, has absolutely exploded in terms of popularity and brand recognition over the course of the last half-decade.

The Tigers are now recognized across the country and are considered one of the premiere programs in all of College Football.

As a result, Clemson football is recruiting at a level higher than anything we’ve seen before. The Tigers have won two of the last three National Championships and now hold the No. 1 spot in the 247 Sports’ Composite Team Rankings.

This is a big week for Tiger fans, though, as Clemson football approaches Early National Signing Day. The Early National Signing Period has been a big asset to Dabo Swinney and his program on the recruiting trail. Clemson only takes commitments who are truly ready to shut their recruiting process down and, as a result, these commits remain for the entirety of the period.

The Early National Signing Day gives these commits an opportunity to sign early- many of which will enroll in January- and put their recruiting process officially to bed. If they choose not sign during the early period, Swinney and his staff know that the recruit isn’t truly 100 percent ready and they don’t consider them a commitment at that point.

As we head into Early National Signing Day, here are five storylines for Clemson football fans to keep their eyes on.
