2. 2016: 56-7 (Margin of victory: 49)

The No. 2 largest margin of victory for Clemson against South Carolina happened just a couple of years ago with a Tiger team that would go on to win a National Championship.

Like many games throughout the series, the Gamecocks came out chirping. There was a lot of talk pregame, but it didn’t take long to realize that South Carolina was in for a rude awakening.

The Clemson defense was dominant and the offense couldn’t be stopped.

Led by Deshaun Watson, the Tigers had 622 yards of total offense. Mike Williams scored three touchdowns- and Watson threw for 347 yards and six touchdowns to one interception.
