4. 1989: 45-0 (Margin of victory: 45)

The No. 4 largest victory over South Carolina came in 1989 in what would be Danny Ford’s final victory in his Clemson football career.

Ford let his team wear orange pants for the first time on the road in this matchup (he debuted the orange pants back in 1980) and the Tigers racked up 355 yards rushing for the game.

RB Terry Allen had a 97-yard touchdown burst and, the truth is, Clemson could’ve scored any number of points it wanted to that night.

With the win, Danny Ford finished his career against the Gamecocks with a 7-3-1 record.
