Clemson Football: Top 5 Largest Victories all-time vs. South Carolina Gamecocks

5. 1935: 44-0 (Margin of victory: 44)

I’m not too sure anyone reading this remembers the classic 1935 matchup between the Tigers and Gamecocks that saw Clemson come away with a 44-0 victory.

The Tigers made the trip down to Columbia for the annual ‘Big Thursday’ matchup in the month of October.

The Tigers came into the game with a 3-1 record an absolutely whipped the field with the Gamecocks on the State Fair Grounds.

Clemson would go on to finish the year 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the Southern Conference.
