The next hurdle? The Boston College Eagles.
The Clemson football team covered each of the last two sizeable spreads against Florida State and Louisville, but the Tigers still dropped in the AP Poll. Clemson is currently ranked No. 4 in the AP Poll coming into this one.
Let’s take a look at the official weather report for the ACC Atlantic Division matchup.
Weather Report vs. Boston College:
High: 70
Low: 62
Chance of Rain: 50 percent
Temp at Kickoff: 68
Wind: 7 MPH
Humidity: 88 percent
Thoughts:
From the current forecast, it looks as if we’ll see clouds and scattered rain for the majority of the day, but the chance of rain rises as we get closer to the game.
By nightfall, there is around a 70 percent chance of rain and that will progress for the majority of the night.
It’s tough to tell in some respects because weather forecasts can change suddenly, but it would probably be good for any Clemson football fan making the trip to Death Valley to bring a poncho and some rain gear. Remember the clear bag policy when you begin packing.
The good news is that it won’t necessarily be a cold rain. The temperature should remain in the mid-to-high 60s throughout the night.
Next. Pick Against the Spread vs. Boston College. dark
Hopefully the rain will pass by quickly or miss Tiger Town altogether, but Clemson football fans should prepare for the worst. If it is, indeed, a rainy night, expect the Tigers to rely on Travis Etienne and Lyn-J Dixon while Boston College will elect to run the ball with AJ Dillon rain or shine.
