4. Can defensive dominance continue?

Can the defensive dominance continue? That’s what we’ll all be looking for Saturday night. The Tigers have done an excellent job all season of keeping opponents out of the end zone, allowing just three touchdowns all season to this point.

The defense has been elite to this point and that’s a credit to Brent Venables.

Charlotte has some play-makers on the offensive side of the ball, but no one who can legitimately challenge Clemson play-in and play-out.

The interesting storyline here is to see if the defense can still have that killer instinct and dominate the 49ers defense despite the fact that they are clearly the more talented unit.
