Clemson Football: 5 seniors set to make major impact in 2019

5. Diondre Overton

Diondre Overton is the first senior to make the list. He’s the only wide receiver on the current roster who won’t have eligibility remaining after this season.

Overton has patiently waited his turn and has been a model athlete, student and citizen while in the Clemson football program.

Coming in as a 4-star, Overton easily could’ve transferred and garnered more playing time, but he instead chose to wait it out and put in the work. Now, he’ll have the opportunity to be a starter in the slot to begin the season.

Even if he isn’t a starter, Overton is going to get much-deserved reps this season and is going to make some plays for the Tigers in 2019.
