4. Xavier Thomas

Xavier Thomas really wowed Tiger fans in the Syracuse game when he put the exclamation point on the win with a huge sack on Orange quarterback Eric Dungey.

Thomas has continued to get more playing time as the season has progressed and he’s basically become the first defensive end off the sideline.

The Tigers use him especially in pass-rushing situations and it’s clear that he’s going to be a force to be reckoned with for the next couple of years.

Thomas is the fastest off the ball I’ve ever seen and his power is also very good.
