Clemson Football: Looking back at the Tigers’ top 2018 freshmen

5. Derion Kendrick

We all knew that Derion Kendrick had the talent and ability to play a lot of snaps even as a freshmen in this wide receiver corp.

Kendrick is a play maker and, like Dixon, any time he touches the ball, he can go for a touchdown. He now takes kick off return responsibilities and is a guy that the Tigers try to get the ball to in the jet sweep game at least a couple of times a game.

Kendrick is fourth on the team in receiving yards with 210 yards, but has yet to score a touchdown yet. It’s only a matter of time before he breaks one off for six and shows us that explosiveness.
