Clemson Football: 5 Reasons to hate NC State’s Dave Doeren

4. Towel Snatcher

Now, this happened last year.

It was all in good fun and it was clear that Bradley Chubb was just trying to clown and mess around. Honestly, I don’t blame Chubb for doing it.

The problem is with Dave Doeren. Before it was ever addressed, Chubb had already stolen towels three times and was warned by the referee.

You can’t blame College Football players for having fun, even if it is annoying. You can, however, blame College Football coaches for not having control of their team and not being able to take care of a situation.

Had the referees not addressed it, Doeren would have let it continue through the whole game. It’s his fault that Chubb thought it’d be acceptable to steal other player’s towels because it’s the culture he had set forth.
