5. “Anonymous Coach”

You know how there’s always those posts that come out right before the beginning of each College Football season that talk about how “anonymous coaches” share their thoughts on their opponents.

Well, you know how there’s always that one coach that has something smart to say about Clemson football?

I always imagine that it’s Dave Doeren. I mean, what other coach in the ACC would be dumb enough to say something like this back at the beginning of the 2017 season:

"“Now they’ll steal your signals. People don’t want to talk about it, but the teams that gave them fits were NC State and Pitt because they huddled. I don’t think that’s a coincidence."

It may very well not be Doeren, but I like to credit him with things like that. It especially helps amp up the week of the Textile Bowl.
