5. Centennial Olympic Park

Have you ever been to downtown Atlanta?

If not, here’s your chance. Centennial Olympic Park is located right in downtown Atlanta and is about the greenest place you will find in the city.

While the park itself doesn’t have a ton of things to do, it is a great spot to take the family just to hang out, maybe throw a frisbee or just take a walk. It’s something that I enjoy doing when I got to Atlanta as I just get to see the buildings surrounding the area and there’s enough space for people to spread out and just chill.

Right across from Centennial Olympic Park is the CNN Center, which houses a ton of fast food restaurants in a food court if you’re looking for something quick to eat as well.
