4. Georgia Aquarium/Zoo Atlanta

If you’re taking the kids down to Atlanta, there’s nothing more fun than letting them see some animals.

While both of these options can be expensive, there’s certainly fun to be had and if you choose to take on doing several of the things on this list, you could actually get the Atlanta City Pass, which allows you to take in pretty much all of the tourism sites for a cheaper price than paying for each one individually.

The Georgia Aquarium is located right off of Centennial Olympic Park, so you could knock out both of those at the same time. The best part of that attraction, in my opinion, is the dolphin show. They’ve got trained dolphins that do tricks and things of that nature.

The zoo can also be a fun experience, especially if you’ve never been to a zoo the size of the one in Atlanta.
