Clemson Football: 10 Expectations for the 2018 Season

1. Win the National Championship

Maybe this should be considered a “goal” or a “dream” for 2018.

Obviously, Clemson can still have a successful season without winning the National Championship. But, as I look out and see the rest of the College Football landscape, I firmly see that the Tigers are the favorite to bring the big trophy home.

Alabama is very good and Ohio State has talent, but I just believe that this Clemson team is a bit better and a bit deeper.

To win a National Championship, you have to have some things bounce your way. You need to stay injury-free, you’ll need to have some luck here or there and I think Clemson gets those things.

I understand that it’s a long season and anything can happen, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with expecting the best from this team. They may not win it all, but I certainly believe they’ll get the job done this year.
