4. Florida State and the new coach

Clemson football’s ACC Atlantic Division Rival Florida State has a new coach.

After years of Jimbo Fisher, the Seminoles moved to Willie Taggart from Oregon. Taggart will be looking to transfer that Florida State offense to an up-tempo spread-offense after years of being a pro-style offense.

It will be an interesting change.

The question I have is just how quick the Seminoles can adjust. Florida State also has a QB competition going on between Deondre Francois and James Blackman.

Many believe the Seminoles are a top-25 team with the capability of winning 10 games. Other think they will win less than eight and possibly finish outside the rankings.

It will be interesting to see just how good they are in Taggart’s first season.
