5. Louisville’s success minus Lamar Jackson

One storyline that I’m interested to see in the ACC this season is Louisville without Lamar Jackson.

Jackson is considered by most circles to be the best player to ever don a Cardinals jersey. He was an absolute nightmare for defenses and did a great job for Louisville.

Other than this past season, Louisville had competed closely with Clemson.

Now, the Cardinals could fall to possibly fourth in the ACC Atlantic. I think there’s a chance that Boston College, NC State, and Florida State all finish ahead of the Cardinals.

But, there’s a guy in Jawon Pass that I think could play pretty well. Pass isn’t Lamar Jackson, but he is a very talented quarterback. Could he help Louisville not fall off the place of the earth? It’s certainly a storyline to watch.
