Defensive Back: Trayvon Mullen

At defensive back, I think it’s pretty clear that Trayvon Mullen has the lead.

There are several other talented guys like A.J. Terrell, Mark Fields and K’Von Wallace that will make up this secondary.

But, when I look at Trayvon Mullen, I see something special.

Mullen has the ability to become the next Mackensie Alexander of the secondary. He can be the guy that takes each opponent’s best wide receiver and completely shut them down.

He has gotten better over the past two seasons and I expect a serious step forward this season.

Could Trayvon Mullen be in the ranks of All-American? I certainly think he could be one of the best defensive backs in the conference and, possibly, the nation.
