Clemson Football: 5 Emerging Stars for the 2018 Season
5. Trayvon Mullen
Trayvon Mullen began to emerge as a star last season as a sophomore.
As a matter of fact, he officially won the starting position opposite-side of Ryan Carter and Marcus Edmond before the 2017 season was over.
So, Mullen is certainly not a guy that is coming into the year without starting experience.
For Mullen, he is an emerging star because of what he will become this season. Trayvon Mullen will not just be a full-time starter for Clemson football.
He will be the most-heavily leaned upon guy in the secondary.
For Clemson’s defense to click on its highest cylinder, it will Mullen to become the next lockdown corner. He will need to follow in the footsteps of Mackensie Alexander and Cordrea Tankersley.
I certainly believe that Mullen has the talent and he will, in my opinion, emerge as a key player on this defense, despite the serious talent along the front-seven.
