What is the lowest expectation for Clemson football in 2018?
Many Tiger fans have certain expectations for the upcoming season. Some believe it’s National Championship or bust. Others are looking for a College Football Playoff berth. Still, others are wanting an ACC Championship.
While I think that most Clemson football fans expect the Tigers to compete for a national championship, we wanted to see what would be considered a successful year, according to the fanbase.
Is it only a successful year if the Tigers win it all?
What if they win the conference? What if they win 10-plus games? Here is what Clemson nation had to say about this year’s expectations.

Clemson Football Expectations…
The vast majority of Tiger fans have two expectations for the upcoming season that will make it a successful one: Winning a national championship or at least making the College Football Playoff.
There’s still a smaller percentage of fans that believe the year will be successful with an ACC Title or winning 10-plus games.
When I look at this poll, I think it’s really telling.
It’s amazing how much a program can change over a decade. Think about it.
How many Tiger fans would be saying that the only way it’s a successful season is a national championship back in 2011? I remember not that long ago saying I would just like to win an ACC Championship.
Just a few years ago, the Tigers were winning 10-plus games, but still weren’t even winning their own division. It’s amazing how far the program has come.

The Tigers are one of the top programs in the nation. I think it’s a reasonable expectation to believe that Clemson football will be competing for a College Football Playoff spot and the national championship. What do you think, Tiger nation?
