Clemson Football Recruiting: 4-star CB has Tigers in top-three
4-star cornerback Devin Bush released his top group Tuesday night. The talented Louisiana product had Clemson football in his top-three.
The 2019 Clemson football recruiting cycle will be one of the largest in recent years. The Tigers will look to take at least 25 and could even fit in a few more than that with early enrollees.
Currently, the Tigers have just 80 scholarship players (85 max), and they will lose 20 seniors after this season.
That means that the 2019 class will be extremely important in the program’s quest to continuing to be on top of the College Football world.
4-star cornerback Devin Bush, out of New Orleans, Louisiana, released his top-three Tuesday night and had the Tigers in his final group.
Secondary Needs…
Clemson football needs to add a couple of guys at defensive back in this current cycle. Bush, without question, is at the top of their list for cornerback.
The Louisiana product is a talented corner with the ability to play at the next level.
He’s very physical for a cornerback and provides great coverage. This guy really excites me when I see his film. He’s the perfect mix of athleticism and physicality. That’s exactly what you want to see from a cornerback.
Clemson joins a group with LSU and Tennessee. He said that he plans to take his official visits this fall.

Bush seems like a great fit for the Clemson football program and I believe that the Tigers are in good shape to win his services right now. The key will be getting him out of the state. LSU typically gets the top prospects from their state (there are rare cases where it doesn’t happen. *See Travis Etienne, for example) and that will be hard, but certainly doable.
Bush would be a great addition to the class of 2019 and it will be interesting to see what he ends up deciding.
