Clemson Football: Shadell Bell, another Tiger to transfer out of program
Clemson football tight end Shadell Bell will transfer out of the program, according to sources. There’s also a chance another Tiger could leave.
Clemson football redshirt junior tight end Shadell Bell will transfer out of the program, according to two different sources.
Bell, who originally came to Clemson as a wide receiver, played limited snaps in a reserve role at tight end over the years he was in Tiger Town.
We were also told that another Tiger could be transferring out of the program, as well.
What does it mean?
We just gave our early position outlook at the tight end position for Clemson football last week.
In my opinion, I thought he’d have a chance to earn a few snaps as a catch-first tight end. However, with the addition of Braden Galloway, Bell’s role was probably only going to be diminished.
There are many more tight ends on the roster that would be getting playing time ahead of Bell. He has two more years of eligibility, so you can’t blame him for wanting to go and play.
Bell will probably finish this semester out, which will be his seventh, before transferring.
Who’s the other transfer?
This is all speculation and the truth is we won’t know who it will be until Clemson football releases an official statement later on.
Right now, though, I’d lean towards saying that it looks as if it could be CJ Fuller.

Fuller had a cryptic post on his Instagram with a picture of him running the ball for Clemson. Could it be him? Possibly, but you never know.
We will continue to update as we get more information.
