Clemson football will host each of its 11 commits for the 2018 class among others this Saturday against The Citadel for the final home game of the season.
Clemson football will have a huge weekend of recruiting this time around as they close out the home schedule.
The Tigers will host all 11 commits from the 2018 class and several other top-tier prospects, as well.
Here’s a list of players expected to be at the Clemson football game and on campus this weekend against The Citadel.
Clemson Football Recruiting List:
- 5-star WR Justyn Ross
- 5-star OL Cade Mays
- 5-star DB Tyreke Johnson
- 4-star CB Brendan Radley-Hiles
- 3-star RB Lyn-J Dixon
- 3-star OL Jordan McFadden
Analysis:
These are the six guys that are uncommitted at this point. Both Cade Mays and Lyn-J Dix were once committed to Tennessee.
Now, they are both highly considering Clemson football for the destination to land their services. Cade Mays has visited Tiger Town several times and I think the Tigers are the favorite to win him over at this point.
Wide receiver Justyn Ross is considered to be a Clemson lean, as well. Right now, he is deciding between- what most believe anyway- Clemson, Auburn, and Alabama in that order.
I really like running back Lyn-J Dixon. I wrote an article on him a while back and it’s really encouraging to see him taking a visit to Clemson.
That very well may bode well for the Tigers, who are in need of a running back in the next cycle.
Tyreke Johnson, the 5-star defensive back out of Jacksonville, Florida, is, in my opinion, favoring Ohio State. This is his first visit to Clemson.
Brenda Radley-Hiles is a teammate of Clemson football commits Xavier Thomas and Mike Jones Jr. at IMG Academy. They have been recruiting hard down there for the Tigers and that may play a factor in Radley-Hiles’s decision.
Next: Injuries piling up as Clemson approaches end of season
Overall, it’s setting up to be a great weekend on the recruiting front. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Tigers pick up a couple of commitments from this group in the next month or so as we approach National Signing Day.
