Clemson Football: Q&A with FSU Experts previewing Tigers vs. ‘Noles
5. How do you see the game playing out on Saturday? What are the keys for FSU to come into Death Valley and compete?
Jason: In all my years as a FSU fan, student, graduate and now a writer covering the team, there have not been many times I have felt less confident about the Seminoles heading into their game. That being said, I don’t think it will be anywhere close to a blowout like the experts are predicting.
I think the key to a win for FSU football is to not get into a panic mode. Yes, Clemson is going to go out and get their points, but Blackman, Akers and the offense need to just go out there and take it one drive at a time. It may sound cliché to say that, but if they start scoreboard watching the Tigers have the talent to bury them.
I’m going to say Clemson wins their third straight in the series, 27-20.
Kelvin: I expect FSU to come into the game highly motivated to knock Clemson off…hopefully Clemson will look at what FSU has done and take them lightly…especially after essentially clinching the ACC Atlantic Division last week against NC State. If FSU can avoid turnovers on offense and get stops on third down it will be a ball game. If they turn the ball over, it’ll likely get ugly like Bubba Sparxx.
