Analysis:
There’s honestly not much to say. Syracuse outplayed, out-coached, out-hustled, and out-classed Clemson football the entire night.
The Tigers were lucky this was just a three-point game.
At the end of the game, Clemson’s defense had two opportunities to get the ball back to the offense when Syracuse had 3rd down and long situations and couldn’t get off the field.
This is one of those games that you just throw away the tape.
There’s nothing good to take away. There’s nothing to learn except what not to do. The Tigers looked lost the entire night.
Overall, I know Clemson football fans will want to jump off the bandwagon now, but this may be best for the Tigers.
Losing a game to Syracuse may wake them up. I think we can all agree that they have been sleepwalking through this entire season.
The ACC is still up for grabs. A College Football Playoff spot could still be attainable if they win out. Right now, Clemson just needs to take this bye week to figure out what is going on and refocus.
