Clemson Football: Could Louisville be a breakout game for Kelly Bryant?
Clemson football will travel up to Kentucky to take on Louisville on Saturday. Could that be a breakout game for quarterback Kelly Bryant?
Clemson football quarterback Kelly Bryant looked really good against Kent State and did what he needed to do against Auburn last week.
Bryant went 19-of-29 for 181 yards and had 19 carries for 59 yards and two touchdowns against the Tigers.
What every Clemson football fan wants to see is Kelly Bryant have a breakout performance.
That very well could the case on Saturday.
Louisville’s secondary has been absolutely atrocious thus far. It’s also a very real possibility that top defensive back Jaire Alexander could be out for the Cardinals.
This is the type of game that the stars align for a breakout performance.

Louisville has had a solid run defense, but North Carolina wide receiver Brandon Harris threw for 216 yards and a touchdown.
Yes you read that right, a wide receiver passed for for over 200 yards against the Louisville defense on the road.
If you don’t believe Kelly Bryant can’t throw for 200 yards against that defense, I think you’re sadly mistaken.
Kelly Bryant will also be the most athletic quarterback Louisville will have faced.
I very well could see a circumstance where Bryant throws for 200+ and rushes for closes to 100. It’s clear that he will get around 15, if not more, carries and I expect him to have some huge throws.
This is the type of game that Deon Cain has highlighted on his schedule.
With or without Alexander, Cain is going to get open behind the secondary. If Bryant can hit him, they are going to for a ton of yards.

I can see this game playing out a ton of different ways, but I certainly think there’s a chance Kelly Bryant has a breakout performance.
The eyes of the entire nation will be on this game and Bryant will have a chance to stamp his name as an elite QB with a solid performance and win on Saturday.
