5. Kelly Bryant, the offense in a road environment

The very first storyline to watch will be quarterback Kelly Bryant and the Clemson football offense in a road environment.

This will be the first time that Bryant and many of these other guys will be starting in front of a crowd that isn’t the Clemson faithful.

That could make a huge difference.

Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium can get fairly loud, especially at night. This will be a special test for Bryant and that offense.

It will certainly be a chance for them to grow up.

Now, the offense will have the benefit of playing a Louisville defense that is less than subpar. The Cardinals are currently 121st in passing defense. They gave up 28 to Purdue and 35 to North Carolina.

Yes, the same UNC team that lost to California the week before.

Personally, I believe being on the road at night could be more intimidating than Louisville’s defense.

If Bryant and the Clemson football offense can refrain from turning the ball over, which it didn’t do against Kent State or Auburn, the Tigers should be in shape to score some points on Saturday.
