Each week Rubbing The Rock takes a look at the most interesting signs seen on ESPN’s College GameDay. Here’s the best that we saw from week two.

Last week, College GameDay was on hand for Alabama’s matchup with Florida State. While the fans were riled up for that showdown, it was at a neutral site. As such, the atmosphere wasn’t the same as on a college campus.

This week, College GameDay is in Columbus for Ohio State’s colossal matchup with the Oklahoma Sooners. As soon as the program started, the crowd let out a deafening, “O-H….I-O”. It was clear from the onset that the crowd was chock-full of Ohio State faithful.

Throughout the week, there was plenty of bulletin board material going around. To the surprise of many, Buckeyes head coach, Urban Meyer was critical of former coordinator, Tom Herman and his comments following the Longhorns loss to Maryland. There were no “basic” comments regarding Ohio State’s defense this time around.

Here are the best signs that we saw from week two:

Before we get into the more snarky signs, the following fans decided to show support for the people of Florida.

And now, let’s dive into the most spirited and hilarious signs that fans were able to come up with this week.

As you can see the Ohio State fans, 1. Don’t like Baker Mayfield and, 2. are still sore about the Buckeyes’ 31-0 loss to Clemson in last season’s College Football Playoff.

At the end of the day, it’s important to remember that these signs are made in good fun. What would College football be without the crazed fan bases? The passion surrounding college football is unrivaled by any other sport at any level.
