1. Kelly Bryant did exactly what was asked of him.

Speaking of the offense’s success, Kelly Bryant had a pretty good half of football.

The junior finished 16-of-22 for 236 yards and a touchdown and interception. Bryant also had 77 yards rushing on seven  carries and a touchdown for the Tigers.

Kelly Bryant did exactly what was asked of him.

He missed on a few passes, but he made the right reads, moved the ball down the field, and did what was needed to get into the end zone.

His rushing ability is going to be huge for Clemson football this season.

He very well may be the most athletic quarterback Clemson has ever had. He made short passes and let his receivers make plays.

If he can continue to do that against Auburn and Louisville, the Tigers will have a great chance to compete all season.

He took command of the offense, which was also good to see.

Overall, I don’t think you could have asked for a much better day from Bryant. He had the one miscue in the end zone that resulted in an interception, but to be fair, he did put the ball in the wide receiver’s hands.
