Week 2:

Who? Auburn at Clemson

The Competitors: Oklahoma at Ohio State, Georgia at Notre Dame, Stanford at USC

Probability: 20%

BottomLine: Week 2 features a matchup between Clemson football and the Auburn Tigers. The ACC Tigers will host the SEC Tigers in what has become a nice little out of conference rivalry over the last half decade.

Both teams will be ranked inside the AP top 12 and, assuming a couple of losses from other teams around the nation, this could be a top-10 matchup.

Unfortunately, I don’t think College GameDay will be coming to Clemson this week. I believe they will choose Oklahoma-Ohio State due to the power of the “name.” The Sooners and the Buckeyes will both be inside the AP top-7 with “Heisman contenders” at quarterback in Baker Mayfield and JT Barrett, at least according to the national media.

What you’d need to happen is for Oklahoma to look unimpressive and struggle with UTEP or Ohio State to be upset by Indiana.

The battle of the Tigers will get a shot from College GameDay, but at the end of the day, I don’t see ESPN cutting out the two traditional College powers.
