Clemson Football 2017: Stars of the Tigers’ Fall Camp
Defensive Line: Dexter Lawrence/Christian Wilkins/Clelin Ferrell/Austin Bryant
I’m sorry. This is the position that is just impossible to name one guy.
The entire unit has been dominant the entire fall camp. It’s not even like the coaching staff has given us much to go off of either.
They always talk about how great the entire defensive line is. And it’s true.
The Tigers don’t have just one star on the defensive line or just one guy that has stood out in fall camp. They have at the very least four.
The defensive end duo of Austin Bryant and Clelin Ferrell mixed in with the “bash brothers,” Dexter Lawrence and Christian Wilkins, makes up the best defensive line unit in the nation.
The backups, guys like Albert Huggins, Nyles Pinckney, and Xavier Kelly, have held their own as well. The Tigers do have experience in the two-deep, but there is certainly a ton of talent.
This group is clearly the best we have ever seen in at least two decades of Clemson football. They are going to be nasty and, as long they stay healthy, are going to do some big things this season.
Now, let’s move to the offensive side of the ball and start with the quarterback position.
