The ACC will be playing in multiple prime time contests in 2017. Virginia Tech is set to face West Virginia at FedEx field, Clemson will play Auburn in Death Valley and last but certainly not least, Florida State will face Alabama at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
The following game times were released for the Tigers:
9/2 Kent State @ Clemson – 12:00 pm kickoff on ESPN
9/9 Auburn @ Clemson – 7:00 pm kickoff on ESPN
9/16 Clemson @ Louisville – 3:30 pm kickoff on ABC/ESPN/ESPN 2
10/13 Clemson @ Syracuse – 7:00 pm kickoff on ESPN
Judging from these four contests, Clemson will have a decent amount of night games in 2017. The Tigers already have two seven o’clock starts vs Auburn and Syracuse; Florida State will likely be a night game as well.

Playing Auburn at night is especially important for Clemson. The home atmosphere in Death Valley is deafening, especially during night games. Not only will the crowd affect Auburn offensively, but, it will also settle Clemson’s inexperienced starter at quarterback.
The strength of the ACC will be tested right out of the gate with opponents such as Tennessee, Alabama, Penn State and West Virginia in the first two weeks of the season. There is a legitimate chance that the conference will go 0-4 in those slate of games.
