5. Adam Choice is the second-string running back

There’s no question who the starting running back is for Clemson football this season, but what many Tiger fans want to see someone emerge as the second-string back and I believe Adam Choice is starting to become that guy.

Choice, who was the starting running back in 2014, looks like he is coming back to form here in 2016.

After suffering that ACL tear, many didn’t know if he would ever come back the same player, but as of the spring game, he looked pretty good. Choice also had the most productive day of all the back as he rushed for 88 yards on 17 carries.

He is a thick back and could be very useful in third down situations this season. His motor never stops and he is showing bursts of that talent he possessed back in 2014.

It will be interesting to see what he looks like in the fall against Tyshon Dye and C.J. Fuller- two similar backs- and where he stands after Tavien Feaster makes his way to campus in the summer.

I think Choice will end up getting the nod to be Gallman’s backup and I expect him to have a productive and solid year.
