3. Rahshaun Smith
With the aforementioned depth concerns at the linebacker position for Clemson football, Rahshaun Smith will have a great chance to not only factor in on the depth chart, but start for the Tigers this season.
He is already enrolled and on campus, which will only give him a better chance at starting when fall camp comes around.
Smith has a great mixture of athleticism and strength that is needed at the linebacker position.
There may be some transition at the college level since Smith played defensive end until his senior season, but there is no doubting his talent. He is an extremely hard-hitter and knows the game very well.
He has an extremely high-ceiling and has the ability to be a superb pass-rusher out of the linebacking spot. It will be interesting to see if he can learn the playbook and get early playing time, but I would be shocked if he is not factoring into the rotation next season.
