Clemson Football: 5 Freshmen That Will Avoid Redshirting
4. Dexter Lawrence
As deep as the Tigers already are at the defensive tackle spot, I honestly believe Dexter Lawrence has a chance to factor into the equation and crack the rotation.
If you watch his film, you see just how dominant he can be. He is just bigger, stronger, and-as a matter of fact- faster than the offensive linemen in front of him. That has led to a dominant high school career and is why he was ranked the number-two player in the nation.
He has explosiveness and reminds me of a stronger Christian Wilkins coming out of high school and he is an early enrollee, which means he will have an entire spring to get acquainted with the playbook and get into the weight room.
He will certainly be making a splash on the depth chart and will, in my opinion, be a candidate for Freshman of the Year at the end of the 2016 Clemson football season.
