Clemson Football will beat Alabama. There, I said it.
3. Alabama and dual-threat quarterbacks don’t mix well
This, to me, is the difference in the game. While Alabama has gotten better at defending a running quarterback and the spread offense, they have not faced a player like Deshaun Watson all season.
The closest thing the Crimson Tide have come to facing a Deshaun Watson was, in fact, Tennessee with Joshua Dobbs (and I almost feel wrong even comparing him to Deshaun Watson).

Dobbs kept Tennessee in the game with his ability to scramble and make some plays, but at the end of the day, the Volunteers were just not talented enough to get a victory on the road in Tuscaloosa. If a player like Dobbs, however, can find holes in the Alabama secondary, why wouldn’t Deshaun Watson be able to?
The Crimson Tide will have trouble all night trying to stop the balanced attack of the Tigers and, at the end of the day, the run game with Deshaun Watson and Wayne Gallman is the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
To be honest, Alabama has not faced a quarterback that can throw the ball and run the ball well. This will be as big of a test for them as they have faced all year and I just think at the end of the night Clemson pulls away with the victory. I know how good Bama’s defense is, but I don’t think Crimson Tide fans have any clue how good the Tiger offense is.

So, while everyone wanting to pick Clemson beats around the bush, I’m going to come out and just say it: Clemson football beats Alabama on Monday night. You may disagree with me, but that’s what makes College Football fun.
