Tajh Boyd comes in as the number one quarterback in Clemson football history. Deshaun Watson may pass him before it’s all said and done, but Boyd is still atop the list for the time being.

Tajh Boyd is tied with Rodney Williams for most wins ever by a starting quarterback (32) and led Clemson to an ACC Championship, the first since 1991 for the Tigers. Boyd also was a Heisman Candidate and won several awards for his outstanding leadership and play on the field.
He finished his Clemson football career with 11,904 yards passing and 107 touchdowns to just 39 interceptions. Boyd also rushed for 1,165 yards and 26 touchdowns on the ground.
It’s tough to compare quarterbacks from today’s game vs. back in the 70’s because the game is so different, but Tajh Boyd is one of the best to ever come to Clemson. He led the Tigers to Bowl victories over LSU in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl and Ohio State in the Orange Bowl with a cannon for an arm and a powerful running style.
