Do you remember?

In 2005, the Miami Hurricanes waltzed into Death Valley and one of the most intriguing match-ups of the series was born. The game went to triple-overtime before Miami was finally able to come up with a 36-30 victory over Tommy Bowden’s Tigers. What I remember most from that game though, was the crowd. It was, without a doubt, one of the loudest Clemson football games in history. It ranks right up there with the best of them and even though it ended with a heart-breaking defeat, still deserves to be mentioned because of the level of the crowd.

One of Dabo Swinney’s defining wins was over Miami in 2009 when the Tigers upset the number 10 ranked Hurricanes by a score of 40-37 down in Miami. Kyle Parker hit Jacoby Ford in overtime on 3rd down and 11 for a touchdown. Clemson was led by performances from Jacoby Ford and C.J. Spiller and the Clemson defense was very good as the game progressed, especially in overtime.
