The Clemson University administration met and released plans for the Clemson vs Notre Dame game on Saturday. As we expected, the game still will kickoff at 8:22 and the day will go as normal. There were speculations that the game would be moved up, but with television and other factors, that just wasn’t a plausible possibility at this juncture.

However, there are some parking plans that have been changed and some safety precautions for the game. Here is all the information you need to know in order to have a safe, fun, and enjoyable experience Saturday, courtesy of Clemson Athletic Communications.
"COMPLETE GAMEDAY GUIDEClemson officials announced this afternoon Saturday’s football game will kick off as scheduled at 8:22 p.m.“We’ve been in constant communication with state and local law enforcement and have monitored weather throughout the week and today,” director of athletics Dan Radakovich said. “I’ve spoken with campus leaders, State Highway Patrol, and Governor Nikki Haley, and feel confident we can play the game as scheduled. We ask our fans to be conscientious arriving and departing from our campus as we will have some limitations due to this ongoing weather event.”“Our officers and partners with other agencies will do everything we can to ensure the safety of fans coming to tomorrow’s game, but we urge personal caution and patience from everyone coming to and leaving campus,” Clemson University Chief of Police Eric Hendricks said.For up-to-date information throughout the day Saturday, follow us at @ClemsonTigers and on ClemsonTigers.com. We’ll continue to provide updates online and through broadcasts of the Tiger Tailgate Show and during the game on the radio broadcast and inside the stadium.ESPN COLLEGE GAMEDAYESPN’s College Gameday show will originate from Bowman Field as scheduled from 9-12 Saturday morning. Bowman Field opens at 6 a.m.SportsCenter, which had planned to be live from the location at 7 a.m., and Gameday Radio, scheduled for 12 – 3 p.m., will no longer be held on Bowman Field.IMPORTANT TICKET INFORMATIONSeason ticket holders unable to travel to the game are urged to use the Clemson Athletic Ticket Transfer to send tickets to others able to attend the game.Season ticket holders can go to ClemsonTigers.com, sign in to their ticket account with IPTAY number and password, go to My Account and select Transfer Tickets.Simply enter the name and email address of the recipient for their tickets to get started. Transferred tickets will be sent via email, and the original tickets will no longer be valid. If you need assistance with online ticket transfers, please contact the Clemson Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-CLEMSON.PARKING INFORMATIONSeveral grass parking lots will be limited in capacity due to the wet conditions, including Lots 1, 2 and 13.Lot 1 has lost 130 parking spaces. Patrons with a Lot 1 or Lot 2 parking pass wishing to stay on a solid surface are encouraged to park at the C1 parking lot off Perimeter Rd and use the shuttle service to the library parking lot. Once Lot 1 is full, remaining vehicles with a Lot 1 parking pass will be directed to C1.Lot 2 has also lost several parking spaces due to standing water and will be parked as an AREA lot in the order that patrons with a pass arrive.Lot 13 is open but may be limited. Fans in all grass parking lots are encouraged to carpool or consolidate automobiles off campus at Tri-County Technical College with those having paved lot spots.Beginning at Noon on Saturday, the designated public parking and carpool location is at Tri-County Technical College located off Hwy 76 in Pendleton. Buses will run shuttles from those lots to campus."
If you are attending the game, make sure you bring your rain gear and remember Death Valley does not allow umbrellas. Allow yourself extra time to get into the stadium and arrive on campus. Parking lots may be closed, so be patient and flexible as the officials just try to do their job.
Most importantly, be safe. It will be wet when we leave Death Valley Saturday night after midnight. Make sure you are safe and take extra precautions when driving. Be patient and be alert.
If you have tickets to the game, but are not going to be able to go, you can do one of several things. First, comment below and we will try to hook you up with a Clemson fan that is willing to buy the tickets from you. Also, use Clemson’s Ticket service in order to get them to other Tiger fans.
