Oregon Ducks
This is a match up I and many other Tiger fans have wanted to see since 2011. This is, in my opinion, the best and most intriguing match up Clemson football could possibly find on their schedules. It would be interesting, first off, because it’s a team you’ve never seen in Death Valley before and it’d be the ultimate match up of spread offenses.

This would be a fast moving and explosive game with tons of offensive firepower. You would see the ball spread out across the field and it may end up a 49-45 type of game. Clemson and Oregon fans, alike would love this and it would be great for both programs going forward.
If you didn’t want to do a home-and-home series, you could easily schedule a “Kickoff Game” in which the two met at a neutral location (possibly Dallas, Texas), for a battle of epic proportions. Tiger and Duck fans would get to travel to Cowboys Stadium to see their teams play and it would generate all kinds of ratings for the first game of the season.
In addition to that, Clemson football fans would get to see the Ducks’ uniforms which are as unpredictable as this game would be. Heck, by then Oregon will have “glow in the dark” uniforms that as they enter the stadium, will light up the stands with duck faces while whistling duck calls to their fellow teammates.
