The final four is set as follows, Gonzaga, South Carolina, Oregon and North Carolina. The journey to the final four was one full of ups and downs and ruined brackets. I have to say I was impressed with South Carolina’s head coach Frank Martin his press conferences were outstanding, he spoke with integrity and class the entire weekend.

This tournament has been crazy thus far, I will be the first to admit that I did not give Gonzaga the credit that they deserved coming into the tournament. I thought that the Zags would fold early on in the tournament.

The final four provides two great match-ups. It will be interesting to see how Gonzaga fairs against Frank Martin’s tough South Carolina squad. It will be equally interesting to see if North Carolina can defeat Oregon to give themselves an opportunity at redemption in the National Championship. There was so much talk surrounding Villanova repeating, that people overlooked the fact that North Carolina had an opportunity to make it to two straight National Championships as well.
