Clemson Offensive Line Coach Matt Luke is challenging star tackle Tristan Leigh to reach another level of dominance, emphasizing that his ascent will come down to one fundamental principle: relentless hard work. Luke acknowledged Leigh's impressive progress but stressed the continuous effort required for true greatness.

"Just putting the work in," Luke stated at Media Day, when asked about Leigh maximizing his potential. "I mean, I think he had a good year. And he was really battling that ankle injury last year, especially the last three or four games, probably playing 60%, just out there battling."

Despite the injury, Leigh's resilience was evident. However, for Luke, there are "no shortcuts. There's no magic. You just got to go put the work in." This message applies to the entire offensive line unit, as they strive to turn their collective "vision of what we want it to look like" into a reality on the field.

"When we walk on the field, we want it to look a certain way," Luke declared. "And we got to go put the work in to make that vision come to life on the field." For Tristan Leigh, this means building on his established foundation, pushing through any lingering effects of past injuries, and committing fully to the demanding daily grind necessary to become an elite offensive tackle. His next level of dominance will be a direct result of the effort he puts in.
