Since taking over a little over 15 years ago, Dabo Swinney has done some special things at Clemson.
Not only did he win two national titles in a three-year span as he threatened to replace Alabama as college football's premier dynasty, but he's coached countless elite players, many of which have become stars in the NFL.
Dabo has been able to accomplish all of these things because he's a top-tier recruiter who knows how to sell his program to star prospects. Not only is he great at selling the program, but he keeps his recruiting promises.
National title-winning quarterback and current NFL starter Trevor Lawrence recently went on the Pardon My Take podcast and spoke about what has made Dabo so successful.

Lawrence talks Dabo Swinney as a recruiter:
“He’s a great recruiter. You wanna go play for him. He sells the family atmosphere of Clemson and you get there and it’s really like that.”

Lawrence basically said that he sells a family-like atmosphere and when you get there, it lives up to the hype. He spoke highly of his time at Clemson and said that "it's really like that" when talking about how Dabo sells his program compared to how it really is.
Every former Clemson player echoes the same sentiment about Dabo and the program and that should tell you just how special of a place it is.
What has continued this tradition of elite recruiting is Dabo surrounding himself with like-minded recruiters who value the same things like faith and family and it's why Clemson is about to hit its second wind under Swinney after winning fewer than 10 games for the first time in a decade a couple of years ago.
Having NFL stars like Trevor Lawrence continue to speak highly of the program is only going to help Dabo Swinney on the recruiting trail.
