After a sluggish start, Clemson finally took care of business on Saturday, beating Virginia 48-31. Choosing a Tiger of the Week was hard because yesterday’s game was as much a team win as you could have. However, there was one player that stood out. He was all over the field, recording yards in every way possible.

Antonio Williams gained 104 all-purpose yards against the Cavaliers, but only 44 came from his three receptions. The other 70 yards came on unconventional plays for a wide receiver. Williams gained 36 yards on a jet sweep that went for a touchdown, while on the next play, he showed off his arm. He threw a 34-yard strike to Troy Stellato on a reverse pass that almost went for another touchdown.

Clemson hasn’t had a guy that can take over a game like that all season, let alone on the ground, through the air, and with his hands on the same night. If the Tigers utilize him like a Deebo Samuel, Swiss Army Knife type of player, it could open up Clemson’s offense even more and raise Williams’ draft stock simultaneously.
