Spring evaluation is roaring in Tigertown, and you better believe Dabo Swinney is all over it. While the Tigers on campus are grinding for Saturday’s spring game, the staff is out hustling for the next wave of Clemson stars. In just the past day, Clemson locked down a new defender for the future and dove straight into a recruiting war for one of the most intimidating wideouts in the entire 2026 class.
Seth Williams Seals the Deal for the 2027 Class
Momentum on the recruiting trail is real, and Seth Williams just proved it again. The three-star safety rolled up from Lakeside High in Atlanta to Clemson on Tuesday, no offer in his pocket—just hope and a dream. By the time he hit the road back down I-85, he was officially the seventh Tiger in the 2027 class. Swinney handed him that all-important offer, and Williams didn’t hesitate for a second. He’s all in.
Williams is the kind of hard-hitting safety that makes defensive coordinators grin ear to ear. Last season, he piled up 73 tackles and five tackles for loss, never shying away from contact and still showing the range to grab two picks. He joins a 2027 class that’s already loaded with four-star studs like Kharim Hughley and Trey Wimbley. With Williams on board, Clemson’s future secondary is shaping up to be a true no-fly zone.

The 6-Foot-5 Nightmare: Clemson Offers Deshawn Hall
As the 2027 class keeps stacking up, the 2026 group just got a shot of pure adrenaline. Clemson has thrown its hat in the ring for Deshawn Hall, a 6-foot-5, four-star monster out of Prattville, Alabama. Hall is the classic late bloomer—three months ago, nobody was talking about him. Now he’s rocketed to No. 173 overall and is the No. 23 wide receiver in the country.
A former basketball standout who averaged a double-double on the hardwood, he brings that "box-out" mentality to the football field. He utilized his massive frame and elite ball-tracking ability to log 660 yards and five touchdowns last season, frequently winning 50/50 balls against smaller defenders. While Auburn currently holds the "home state" advantage, Clemson is firmly in the hunt with a 22.6% chance to land him according to Rivals. Hall’s official visit tour will reportedly kick off in Clemson, giving the Tigers the first real shot at convincing him that Death Valley is the right place for a "Megatron-style" target.
