Friday was a good day for Clemson football as its 2026 class grew by one and moved up to No. 2 nationally.
Gordon Sellars committed to the Tigers over Michigan, South Carolina, Georgia, Ohio State, and Notre Dame, among others, and he became Clemson's third four-star receiver commit in the class, joining Connor Salmin and Naeem Burroughs.
Four-star safety commit Kaden Gebhardt reacted favorably to the news, quote tweeting Sellars' commitment graphic with Tiger emojis.
But On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons' quote tweet of Gebhardt's was even more intriguing. He hinted at Clemson potentially being on commit watch, saying, "And there will be more."

Obviously this got fans' attention as the replies were all asking what he knew but the insider isn't going to reveal any of his secrets or ruin a kid's announcement. It is interesting to see a national recruiting expert say something like this which likely means that the Tigers are closing on some big fish.
The Tigers are already building a special class in 2026 which, as I already said, is ranked second nationally but it'll be interesting to see who they land next as Simmons teased they weren't done.
For Simmons to hint at something like this, that makes it seem like there's more coming in the near future so that kind of rules out four-star safety Kentavion Anderson who's been trending to Clemson all spring and has a commitment date of May 16. That means there could be more before him.
Buckle up, Clemson fans. Recruiting is fun again.
