Spring ball is in the books and Clemson football fans could not be more excited about the 2025 season.

The Tigers just wrapped up a solid spring that proved that they might just have one of the best offenses in the country, led by Heisman candidate Cade Klubnik who had over 3,600 yards with 36 touchdowns and just six picks last year as well as the best receiving corps in the country, in my opinion.

They are losing Phil Mafah, however, which will hurt the run game, but there's plenty of talent there with my favorite breakout candidate, Gideon Davidson, joining the fold.

Clemson has an elite defense, too, and the entire team should only get better from what we saw in 2024 when the Tigers made the expanded College Football Playoff field.

Just how good should this team be? Well, if you look at the returning production numbers from this playoff team, you have to believe that Clemson gets a whole lot better.

In fact, Clemson has the most returning production in the country heading into 2025.

According to ESPN, 81 percent of Clemson's production from the 2024 playoff team is returning which isn't all that shocking when you realize what the Tigers are bringing back. That number means that Clemson is returning the most production in the nation, ahead of Arizona State which returns 79 percent and Illinois which has 76 percent coming back.

If you believe those numbers give each of these teams a leg up, that should mean that Clemson and Arizona State will be back in the College Football Playoff this year.

Excitement continues to build for this Clemson team.
