It's been a long offseason for Clemson football fans -- and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Usually when the offseason feels like it's dragging on, that means the upcoming season is highly anticipated and Tiger fans are expecting another national title push.
Clemson is one of the best teams in the country heading into the 2025 season and there's a good chance the Tigers are a top-three team in the nation when the season kicks off.
Oh, and Clemson has the most returning talent of any team in the Power Four.
Excitement is through the roof in South Carolina right now.
To make things even more exciting, the new EA Sports College Football 26 video game is set to be released in early July and ratings have been trickling out for some of the top players in the game, but I have yet to see anything on Clemson's stars yet.
So I thought I'd go ahead and give my predictions for the top five projected Clemson players in the new game along with their projected ratings, in my opinion.
Let's kick it off with my No. 5 player. Antonio Williams, Cade, Peter Woods, TJ Parker, Avieon Terrell
There's a decent chance that Avieon Terrell is the highest-rated cornerback in the ACC for the upcoming season, but I just don't think he's a 90-rated player just yet. He could play his way into that type of rating midway through the season, but I'm going with somewhere in the 88-90 range.
Terrell is projected by some experts to be one of the top cornerbacks in college football for the upcoming season and he looks the part of an All-American and All-ACC first-teamer.
Is that better than an 88 rating? I think so, but this just goes to show how good I think Clemson's stars are -- I don't believe EA wants to hand out too many 90 overalls on the same team.
Although I wouldn't be too surprised by a 90-rated Terrell.
