Fresh off their bye week, there is work to be done for the Clemson Tigers the rest of the season. Clemson enters Week 7 with a 3-2 overall record and a 2-1 mark in ACC play. Their wins have come over Georgia Southern in the non-conference, as well as in league play versus North Carolina and at Cal. Clemson's two losses so far are on the road to LSU and home versus Miami. Both were blowouts.

Here are the results of every game Clemson has played up to this point in the college football season.

  • Week 1: at LSU Tigers (L, 51-10)
  • Week 2: vs. Georgia Southern Eagles (W, 22-7)
  • Week 3: vs. North Carolina Tar Heels (W, 28-20)
  • Week 4: at California Golden Bears (W, 24-10)
  • Week 5: vs. Miami Hurricanes (L, 41-13)
  • Week 6: BYE

While Clemson does not have that high of a ceiling for this season, the Tigers do have a navigable slate in the second half of their schedule. The chances of them playing another ranked team are slim. With home game versus Charleston Southern and five ACC games before we get to the Palmetto Bowl, Clemson has a fantastic opportunity to rack up some wins and really make a great season of it.

Looking ahead, here are the remaining seven regular-season games Clemson has left on its schedule.

  • Week 7: vs. Charleston Southern Buccaneers (Saturday, Oct.17, 12:00 p.m. ET)
  • Week 8: vs. Virginia Tech Hokies (Saturday, Oct. 24, 7:00 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. ET)
  • Week 9: at Florida State Seminoles (Saturday, Oct. 31, TBD ET)
  • Week 10: at Syracuse Orange (Saturday, Nov. 7, TBD ET)
  • Week 11: vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (Saturday, Nov. 14, TBD ET)
  • Week 12: at Duke Blue Devils (Friday, Nov. 20, 7:30 p.m. ET)
  • Week 13: vs. South Carolina Gamecocks (Saturday, Nov. 28, TBD ET)

After Charleston Southern, Clemson will host Virginia Tech in what will be James Franklin's debut at Death Valley. It is a game the Tigers must have. After that, they will be at Florida State on Halloween. Who knows if Mike Norvell will still have a job by then? From there, Clemson will then be at Syracuse, home versus Georgia Tech, and at Duke on a Friday night to round out league play before Palmetto.

With seven regular-season games left to be had, how many more wins could Clemson be picking up?

Week 7: vs. Charleston Southern Buccaneers (Saturday, Oct. 17, 12:00 p.m. ET)

We do not need to overthink this. Clemson should improve to 4-2 overall by beating the Charleston Southern Buccaneers with margin. Coming into this season, they were the easiest opponent on the Tigers' schedule. That has not changed. While Clemson needs to get better in a hurry on offense, this game can serve as a great tune-up for true freshman Tait Reynolds and the rest of the passing game.

Win: Clemson 4-2 (2-1)

Week 8: vs. Virginia Tech Hokies (Saturday, Oct. 24, 7:00 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. ET)

Clemson's next ACC game may serve as the litmus test for how the rest of the season could go. This is Franklin's first year leading the Hokies after being let go by Penn State. He brought over mostly Penn State players, and is now one loss away from starting ACC play out 0-3. With it being a night game for the Tigers, look for the home crowd to provide the necessary lift that Clemson will need.

Win: Clemson 5-2 (3-1)

Week 9: at Florida State Seminoles (Saturday, Oct. 31, TBD ET)

Florida State may have looked the part versus Virginia two weeks ago, but Louisville embarrassed the Seminoles on Friday night. Mike Norvell cannot win road games for the life of him, but this one will be in Tallahassee. With Florida State having to play massive rival Miami on the road, Norvell may be out of a job before Clemson comes to town. Will that make a difference? Probably not, as Clemson wins this.

Win: Clemson 6-2 (4-1)

Week 10: at Syracuse Orange (Saturday, Nov. 7, TBD ET)

The pressure is certainly starting to ratchet up on Syracuse Orange head coach Fran Brown. His team was the first in the ACC to start the year out 0-3 in league play. Clearly, his first season in Upstate New York was the anomaly. While Syracuse often gives the Tigers all they can handle and then some, the Orange might already be out of it by then. Clemson use that to its advantage to prove victorious here.

Win: Clemson 7-2 (5-1)

Week 11: vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (Saturday, Nov. 14, TBD ET)

It is a huge rivalry game. While Clemson has been arguably the better team throughout this season, you cannot overlook the Ramblin' Wreck of Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets just beat previously undefeated Duke. Granted, that game was in Bobby Dodd. However, Brent Key's team will have to face Clemson in Death Valley. With how last year's game went on The Flats, Clemson makes this personal.

Win: Clemson 8-2 (6-1)

Week 12: at Duke Blue Devils (Friday, Nov. 20, 7:30 p.m. ET)

This could be the game that defines Clemson's season. If both Clemson and Duke are 8-2 on the year, one would think one or both would probably be ranked. Whoever wins this might stand a great shot at getting to Charlotte. Duke won the game a year ago in Death Valley. With it being a short week and on the road in Durham, Reynolds will have to play like an upperclassman to win, but he may not do that...

Loss: Clemson 8-3 (6-2)

Week 13: vs. South Carolina Gamecocks (Saturday, Nov. 28, TBD ET)

With Clemson's chances of getting to the ACC Championship Game and the College Football Playoff being mostly on ice after the Duke game, the Tigers can take their frustrations out on South Carolina. While it remains to be seen if Shane Beamer will still be around by that time, he does coach the Gamecocks well when their backs are up against the wall. It will be close, but Clemson has got this.

Win: Clemson 9-3 (6-2)

To tie a bow on this, Clemson could enter bowl season with a shot at 10 wins and a top-25 finish. What hurts them is the Tigers may not have a quality win on their resume heading into the holiday season. Miami is a buzzsaw. LSU comes and goes. Duke could get back to Charlotte for all we know. However, this season will have been a necessary building block for the Tigers to have a great 2027.

Clemson Tigers' 2026 regular season record: 9-3 (6-2)
