Sheridan Jones could be Clemson's final draft pick this year

At 6 feet, 190 pounds, Sheridan Jones also has nice size for a corner. However, if he is drafted, it won't be until the seventh round with some team looking to add a depth corner or special teams player to its ranks.

A former 4-star recruit, Jones never lived up to that billing at Clemson but he was a serviceable player for the Tigers. He ended his career with 90 tackles and three picks, decent but far from spectacular numbers.

A fluid athlete, he tracks the ball well when it is in his area. He also is capable of sticking with receivers of all sizes and speeds given his frame and his speed.

Jones isn't a great tackler, though. That's something that NFL teams will be leery of. He will also need to add some weight to his body to withstand the rigors of the next level.

Jones isn't a lock to be selected but given his pedigree and the respect NFL teams have for Clemson defenders, he should be a consideration on the final day of the draft. However, if he goes, it likely won't be until the seventh round.
